Shopping Tax Free in Denmark is an easy and convenient way to save money!
Three easy steps
1. Shopping
Make your purchase where you see the Denmark Tax-Free Refund sign and simply ask for a Denmark Tax-Free form at the register.
2. Custom verification
Present your Denmark Tax-Free Refund form and – if requested – the purchased goods to customs prior to departure and have the tax refund form stamped.
Copenhagen Airport For customs verification and delivery of forms go to Danske Bank between terminal 2 and 3 (land site) Mon - Sun: 06.00 am - 20.30 pm.
Outside these opening hours go to Customs in terminal 3.
Billund Airport For customs verification go to Customs.
Cruise Passengers Have your forms stamped at the tourist information at Langelinie Pear.
Note: Customs verification is only for passengers leaving the EU via Denmark.
3. Get your Refund
Credit card refunds: Fill in your credit card number on the forms.
When leaving Denmark or the EU return your completed customs stamped forms to Denmark. Tax-Free Refund or deliver them to Danske Bank in Copenhagen Airport.
If you forget export verification have your forms stamped by local authorities in your own country and mail these forms to Denmark Tax-Free Refund
Airport Refund Collect your refund at Danske Bank in the departure hall.
Bank Cheque Refund Refund can also be sent to you by bank cheque.
Please note: A fee of DKK 100.00 will be deducted from your refund amount.
